With a commitment to evidence-based practices, Dr. Bhattacharyya focuses on enhancing her patients’ quality of life through strategies that address the symptoms of complex mental health conditions.

Dr. Bhas is widely respected for her compassionate, empathetic care, which has been instrumental in her success with patients navigating mental health challenges. Her extensive background includes advanced training in Forensic Psychiatry, along with experience in the Independent Medical Assessor within the medico-legal field. Dr Bhattacharyya has worked as a senior specialist at NSW correctional centres and has extensive experience as an Independent Medical Assessor for NSW State Insurance.Presently, Dr Bhattacharyya does assessments for reputable law firms, insurance companies and government solicitors.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bhas actively contributes to the education of future healthcare professionals, providing training for medical students, junior doctors, and health professionals at Gosford and Wyong hospitals. Her dedication to both patient care and professional mentorship exemplifies her commitment to advancing mental health treatment and education.

Leanne is a Registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. with extensive experience in supporting adults, adolescents and families through life’s challenges. Leanne is a compassionate, empathic, collaborative and non-judgemental therapist who develops strong therapeutic relationships through her client-centred focus. Because each person’s experiences and challenges are different, Leanne uses a flexible, integrative, eclectic approach utilising evidence-based therapies tailored to meet the individual needs of her clients.

Leanne’s areas of clinical interest include trauma and stress related disorders, the assessment and support of ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and challenges associated with life changes and transitions such as grief and loss.

Therapies used include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy.
